The Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Intern to join our Career & Culture team. The intern will play a key role in our firmwide Philanthropy efforts, support onboarding and offboarding firmwide and for a variety of new hires and assist with other Career & Culture team initiatives. This individual will support and advance initiatives that foster development and growth in the workplace. This internship offers hands-on experience in Philanthropy efforts, Mentoring programs, data analysis, and cultural enhancement projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with HR team members to manage onboarding and offboarding tasks in SilkRoad for new hires
  • Organizes training sessions for new hires
  • Assists with review of onboarding and offboarding tasks quarterly, suggesting updates as necessary
  • Updates firmwide onboarding materials as necessary
  • Works closely with the Andersen Foundation to assist with communications, planning of events, reporting requests; maintains donor tracking lists
  • Assists in the planning, coordination, and execution of charitable events, volunteer programs
  • Contribute ideas for new initiatives and events to enhance Philanthropy within the organization

Compensation and Benefits

For individuals hired, the expected hourly rate range for this role is $24.00 to $40.00 per hour; the actual hourly rate can vary based upon employee qualifications and location. For additional information on careers at Andersen, please visit our website at: https://www.andersen.com/careers/.

The Requirements

Applicants with an expected graduation date of June 2025 or earlier will only be considered.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, or a related field
  • Passionate about philanthropy and promoting it in the workplace
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data analysis tools or software is a plus
  • Demonstrated commitment to or experience with community work is a plus
