The Role

Aspire is a one-day program taking place on May 15, 2024. This selective event allows Freshmen and Sophomores to gain exposure to the accounting field and insight about Andersen. Accounting isn’t just about numbers; it’s about deciphering the language of business, making informed financial decisions, and ensuring the fiscal health of clients.

 

If you are an aspiring business leader, come learn about the role of accountants, the various career opportunities, and experience hands-on exercises that will set you apart from other students as you venture into leadership programs, internships, and, eventually, full-time roles.

 

Whether you are a numbers enthusiast or simply curious about this essential field, this program will help you learn more about yourself and a rewarding career in accounting! Aspire for greatness – your opportunity awaits. 

The Requirements

    • Pursuing a Bachelor's or master’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree with expected graduation date between May 2026 and June 2028; 
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0; 
    • A keen interest in learning more about public accounting and tax; 
    • Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills; 
    • Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment; and
    • Strong interpersonal skills
