Valuation Interns serve as members of various client service teams, and are exposed to diverse industries and types of companies/assets. The Valuation Services group performs valuations of closely held companies, intangible assets, derivatives, and other assets for tax and financial statement reporting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and other purposes. Interns are staffed on engagements similar to an Associate and have the opportunity to develop a broad skillset through performing company, industry, and market research, spreadsheet modeling, financial analysis, report writing, and participating in client discussions.  Interns receive formal and on-the-job training to develop their technical skills. 



Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other field that would provide a strong background for qualitative and quantitative reasoning;
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0;
  • Strong multitasking, and organizational skills;
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a deadline-driven environment;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong interpersonal skills; and
  • Ability to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal and client personnel.
